Five Star Quality Care, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter and Year End 2014 Results
March 16, 2015 5:20 PM EDTNEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Five Star Quality Care, Inc. (NYSE: FVE) today announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2014.
Fourth Quarter 2014 Financial Results:
Total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2014 increased 2.2% to $332.5 million from $325.2 million for the same period in 2013. Growth in revenues was the result of increases in occupancy primarily at Five Stars independent and assisted living communities as well as increases in average monthly rates to residents who pay privately for services.
