March 2, 2015 3:00 PM ESTStandard & Poor's Ratings Services today said it kept its ratings on Palo Alto, Calif.-based Hewlett Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ), including the 'BBB+' corporate credit rating, 'A-2' commercial paper rating, and 'BBB+' senior unsecured debt rating, on CreditWatch with negative implications.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and Aruba Networks (Nasdaq: ARUN) announced a definitive agreement for HP to acquire Aruba, a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise, for $24.67 per share in cash. The equity value of the transaction is approximately $3.0 billion, and net of cash and debt approximately $2.7 billion. Both companies' boards of directors have approved the deal.
