William Blair Affirms 3D Systems (DDD) at 'Underperform'; Still Sees as Overvalued vs. Expected Performance
February 27, 2015 8:33 AM ESTWilliam Blair affirms 3D Systems (NYSE: DDD) at Underpeform following Q4 results and guindace issued this week.
Analyst Brian Drab noted that organic revenue growth in 2014 was 13 percent, from 29 percent and 22 percent seen in 2013 and 2012, respectively. The analyst commented, Weaker channel performance in North America and the Asia-Pacific regions also contributed to the deceleration in organic revenue growth. Specifically, resellers have shifted their focus away from selling the midrange printers to selling the high-end production printers, causing coverage gaps in the portfolio.
