FedEx (FDX) Misses Q2 EPS by 11c; Affirms FY15 Outlook
December 17, 2014 7:31 AM ESTFedEx (NYSE: FDX) reported Q2 EPS of $2.14, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.98 billion.
FedEx Express Segment
For the second quarter, the FedEx Express segment reported:
Revenue of $7.02 billion, up 3% from last years $6.84 billion
Operating income of $484 million, up 36% from $357 million a year ago
Operating margin of 6.9%, up from 5.2% the previous year
