Cannell Capital Files 13D on TheStreet, Inc. (TST); Urges Cramer to Quit CNBC
December 3, 2014 1:53 PM ESTCannell Capital filed a 13D on TheStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: TST), noting a change in filing status from 13G (passive) to 13D (active). The filing included a letter to Jim Cramer.
In the letter Cannell's Carlo Cannell noted an 8.95% stake and said the structure of Jim Cramer's relationship with TST leads to various concerns. Cannell is urging Cramer to call on his fellow directors to start a process to auction the company, resign from CNBC and align his energy to TST, and to cut his salary by 70%, among other things.
