Second Sight Medical (NASDAQ: EYES) is showing early gains Thursday following the company's strong debut on yesterday's session.

Wednesday, Second Sight opened for trading at $17 after pricing 3.5 million common shares at $9 apiece. Overall, the stock close 122 percent higher to $19.97.

Ahead of the bell, Second Sight is up an additional 15 percent.
