Baxter Int'l (BAX) Posts Q3 EPS of $1.35; Guides FY14 EPS Below Expectations

Baxter Int'l (NYSE: BAX) reported Q3 EPS of $1.35, versus the analyst estimate of $1.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.21 billion.

Baxter Int'l sees FY2014 EPS of $4.86-$4.89, versus the consensus of $5.16. Baxter now expects sales growth for full-year 2014 of 11 to 12 percent, before the impact of foreign exchange, and growth of approximately 10 to 11 percent on a reported basis.

Baxter Int'l sees Q4 2014 EPS of $1.30-$1.33, versus the consensus of $1.41.
