Ares Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: ARCC) reported Q3 core EPS of $0.34, which may not compare to the consensus $0.38.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2014, Ares Capital reported GAAP net income of $142.8 million or $0.48 per share (basic and diluted), Core EPS(2) of $0.34 per share (basic and diluted), net investment income of $92.0 million, or $0.31 per share (basic and diluted), and net realized and unrealized gains of $50.8 million or $0.17 per share (basic and diluted).
