Lennar Corp. (LEN) Tops Q2 EPS by 10c

Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.61, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.82 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.68 billion.

• Deliveries of 4,987 homes – up 12%
• New orders of 6,183 homes – up 8%; new orders dollar value of $2.0 billion – up 21%
• Backlog of 6,858 homes – up 11%; backlog dollar value of $2.4 billion – up 26%
