Ciena Corp. (NYSE: CIEN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.17, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $560.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $559.18 million.

The company sees Q3 revs of $585 to $615 million, while the Street consensus is at $583.3 million. Sees adjusted (non-GAAP) gross margin in the low to mid 40s percent range.
