Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c

Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) reported Q1 EPS of $1.21, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.24 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.49 billion.

Oilfield Services revenue of $11.24 billion decreased 6% sequentially, but increased 6% year-on-year. Oilfield Services pretax operating income of $2.37 billion decreased 9% sequentially, but increased 21% year-on-year.
