Autonation, Inc. (AN) Tops Q4 EPS by 23c; Domestic Income Up 6%

Autonation, Inc. (NYSE: AN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.83, $0.23 better than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.52 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.58 billion.

Segment results for the fourth quarter of 2013 were as follows:

-- Domestic - Domestic segment income was $58 million compared to year-ago segment income of $54 million, an increase of 6%.
-- Import - Import segment income) was $64 million compared to year-ago segment income of $60 million, an increase of 6%.
-- Premium Luxury - Premium Luxury segment income was $103 million compared to year-ago segment income of $80 million, an increase of 28%.
