Chart Industries, Inc. (GTLS) Misses Q2 EPS by 4c; Issues Mixed Guidance

Chart Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTLS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.59, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $239.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $237.95 million.

The second quarter of 2012 included $1.8 million in foreign currency loss, or $0.04 per diluted share, largely due to a weak euro which impacted European operations, particularly in our BioMedical segment.

Chart Industries, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $2.60-$2.68, versus the consensus of $2.76. Chart Industries, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of $950M - $1B, versus the consensus of $982.35 million.
