OSI Systems wins $23M in cargo inspection orders from North America

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Security division has received orders totaling approximately $23 million from a North American customer for cargo inspection programs.
The orders cover civil works, service, and support for cargo inspection systems, including site engineering, infrastructure development, and sustainment programs.
Ajay Mehra, President and Chief Executive Officer of OSI Systems, said, "We are pleased to receive these awards, which extend our long-standing support of our customer's cargo inspection mission. In addition to providing our inspection technology, we have been engaged to deliver the site engineering and infrastructure these systems require and provide the sustainment programs that keep them operating in demanding environments."
OSI Systems designs and manufactures electronic systems across three segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare. The company is based in Hawthorne, Calif.
