Jaguar Uranium gets EIA approval for La Rosada prospect in Argentina
Jaguar Uranium Corp. (NYSE American: JAGU) announced it has received Environmental Impact Assessment approval from the Ministry of Environment of the Province of Chubut for the La Rosada prospect, part of its Laguna Salada uranium exploration project in Argentina.
The permit covers six properties totaling 59,895 hectares, representing approximately 25% of the broader Laguna Salada project, which encompasses roughly 230,000 hectares in Chubut Province. The six properties include La Rosada and five parcels named Horqueta 1 through 5.
The La Rosada prospect is located 45 kilometers northeast of the Guanaco prospect, which received its own EIA approval in March 2026.
With the permit in place, Jaguar said it plans to begin prospecting activities after the winter season concludes. The planned work program includes geochemical sampling, geological mapping, radiometric grid surveys, and electrical resistivity tomography to identify deep fluvial paleochannels.
"Approval of the EIA marks an important milestone for Jaguar Uranium," said Steven Gold, Chief Executive Officer. "Given the scale of the Laguna Salada project, this approval advances our exploration strategy and positions the Company to move efficiently into the next phase of fieldwork."
