Cielo Waste Solutions rebrands as Esker Infrastructure Corp.
Cielo Waste Solutions Corp. has changed its name to Esker Infrastructure Corp., effective September 25, 2026, according to a company statement. The company trades on the TSX Venture Exchange and OTCQB markets.
The company's common shares are expected to begin trading under the new ticker symbol TSXV: ESKR and OTCQB: ESKRF at the opening of trading on October 2, 2026. The company's listed common share purchase warrants, issued in July 2022 and expiring in July 2027, are expected to trade under the symbol "ESKR.WT" on the same date.
The company said the name change reflects a shift in its business model away from developing proprietary technology and toward originating, structuring, and financing infrastructure projects using third-party technologies. The company describes this as the final step in a year-long repositioning.
"Our new name reflects our strategy," said Ryan C. Jackson, Chief Executive Officer. "We are a company that originates, structures and finances long-term, low-carbon energy infrastructure."
Esker's first project, called Project Nahoonai, is focused on multiple sites in British Columbia and is currently in a pre-final investment decision stage. The company said the project is subject to meeting criteria required to structure a financeable project at each site.
The company said the name change will not affect its business operations, affairs, or issued and outstanding share capital. Existing share certificates are expected to remain valid, and shareholders are not required to take any action.
