OSI Systems wins $7M order for electronic sub-assemblies

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division received orders totaling approximately $7 million from an industrial controls original equipment manufacturer for electronic sub-assemblies used in industrial control and monitoring platforms.
The company did not identify the customer. The orders expand an existing relationship between OSI Systems and the unnamed manufacturer, according to a press release statement.
Ajay Mehra, President and Chief Executive Officer of OSI Systems, said, "We are pleased to receive these awards, which expand our existing relationship with this customer and reflect its continued confidence in our ability to support growing demand for its products."
