Gorilla Technology wins Taiwan AI contract worth tens of millions

September 22, 2026 9:03 AM EDT

Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GRRR) has secured a multi-year contract valued in the tens of millions of dollars to expand its artificial intelligence and analytics infrastructure for what the company describes as the largest criminal investigation bureau of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a press release.

The contract builds on a prior deployment with the same unnamed government customer in Taiwan and covers next-generation intelligence data integration, AI-powered analytics and accelerated computing infrastructure, including Nvidia B300 GPU systems. Gorilla will also provide three years of maintenance, support and system enhancements.

Deployment is scheduled to run from the fourth quarter of 2026 through the fourth quarter of 2027.

The programme is designed to expand upon existing infrastructure rather than replace it, creating what the company describes as a scalable foundation for investigative analytics workloads within a secure environment.

"Winning a major national programme is difficult. Being asked to come back, expand what you have built and take on an even larger part of the customer's technology architecture says something very different. It means you have earned trust," said Jay Chandan, Chairman and CEO of Gorilla Technology.

Jackie Wang, Country Head for Taiwan, said the contract "represents a significant expansion of Gorilla's footprint in Taiwan" and noted that the scope extends beyond hardware to include data integration and analytics capabilities.

Gorilla Technology is headquartered in London and operates across government, public safety, telecom, retail and other sectors using AI and deep learning technologies.
