Dun & Bradstreet announced that its D&B Commercial Graph is now available in the IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog via Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, according to a company press release dated Sept. 17, 2026.
The integration gives AI agents access to verified business identity, relationships, and commercial context anchored by the D-U-N-S Number business identifier. The tool is designed to support enterprise workflows across sales, marketing, procurement, compliance, finance, credit evaluation, and master data management.
Elizabeth Barrette, General Manager for Master Data Management Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet, cited a company survey finding that only 6% of businesses say their enterprise data is fully ready to support AI at scale. "Dun & Bradstreet helps close that gap, providing the foundation of continually verified business information required for reliable, traceable AI-driven decisions at scale," she said.
Megan Grant, Managing Director of IBM Technology U.S. Industry Market, said the MCP integration allows organizations to bring trusted data and business context into AI workflows they build and deploy through watsonx Orchestrate.
Specific use cases outlined in the announcement include verifying supplier and partner identity for risk and compliance purposes, qualifying sales and marketing opportunities using company and contact data, and evaluating creditworthiness using commercial context and payment data.
The D&B Commercial Graph MCP Server is currently available through the IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog.
