OSI Systems wins $8M order for electronic assemblies

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division has received approximately $8 million in orders from a global industrial technology company to supply electronic assemblies for test and measurement solutions.
The orders cover multiple product lines, according to a company statement. Ajay Mehra, President and Chief Executive Officer of OSI Systems, said the awards "reflect the breadth of our engineering and manufacturing capability and our ability to serve a global industrial customer across several product lines and geographies."
OSI Systems did not identify the customer. The Hawthorne, California-based company operates through three segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
