OSI Systems wins $90M in RF communication orders from U.S. government

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Security division has received orders totaling approximately $90 million from U.S. government customers for radio frequency (RF) communication products.
The orders cover a range of applications, including Very Low Frequency (VLF) communication systems and high frequency transmission products, along with related support services, according to a company statement.
Ajay Mehra, President and CEO of OSI Systems, said, "We are seeing good momentum in our RF business and these awards reflect the investments we have made to support that growth through an expanded operational footprint and labor capacity."
OSI Systems designs and manufactures electronic systems and components across three business segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare. The company serves customers in more than 170 countries.
