Rain City Resources Inc. (CSE: RAIN) has entered into an agreement with ZERO13, a GMEX Group company, to develop blockchain-enabled traceability, ESG verification and digital infrastructure for lithium production, according to a press release.

The framework is intended to support certification covering product purity, water consumption, energy intensity, carbon performance, reagent usage, laboratory verification, batch identification and chain-of-custody information for critical mineral production in Latin America.

The company also announced a 90-day extension of its exclusivity period with Ion Source LLC under a term sheet originally executed on April 16, 2026. Rain City said it has been working with Ion Source on its AC²ME direct lithium extraction technology and other commercial applications.

On July 11, 2026, the maturity date of an existing convertible loan note, Rain City and the note holder agreed to convert the instrument into an unsecured loan repayable on demand, denominated in U.S. dollars and bearing simple interest at 5% per annum. The holder's conversion right was released, and accrued interest of $2,375 was capitalized into principal, resulting in an outstanding balance of $49,875.

Rain City also restructured its Advisory Board. Ronald Lincz, Douglas Brett and Andrew Judson stepped down effective September 8, 2026. The company appointed Jay Hosanee, described as a finance leader with experience in manufacturing, logistics and mining, and Nicholas Holbrook, CEO of Ion Source LLC, to the board.
