Vivakor delays Adapti share dividend payment to January 2027
Vivakor, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVK) has extended the payment date for its previously announced special dividend of Adapti, Inc. common stock shares from September 5, 2026 to January 29, 2027, according to a company statement.
The Dallas-based energy services company said the extension was necessary to allow time to complete a securities registration process. Vivakor has engaged securities counsel to prepare and file a registration statement required to facilitate the distribution of Adapti shares to eligible shareholders.
The special dividend will be paid to holders of record of Vivakor common shares as of September 5, 2025, the previously announced ex-dividend date. All other terms of the special dividend remain unchanged.
James Ballengee, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vivakor, said the company is "actively working to complete the necessary regulatory process," adding that the extended payment date "provides the additional time necessary to complete these requirements and effect the distribution."
The company said no action is required by eligible shareholders at this time.
