Datametrex AI to rename as Quanta AI, appoints new CEO and CFO

Datametrex AI Limited (TSXV: DM, FSE: D4G, OTC PINK: DTMXF) announced it will change its name to Quanta AI Inc., with shares expected to begin trading under the new ticker symbol QNTA on the TSX Venture Exchange on or about September 14, 2026. A new CUSIP number, 74768Q109, has been assigned. Existing shareholders are not required to take any action, and share certificates will not need to be exchanged.

The company also announced leadership changes. Michael Kron has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, following the resignation of Paul Haber from both roles on August 28, 2026. Kron has more than 25 years of experience in technology, payments, patent strategy, and corporate finance. He has been involved in companies including Mamma.com, AnywhereCommerce, BBPOS, and Bam Solutions, and began his career as a CPA at EY.

Bruce Lee has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, following the resignation of Don Shim from that position on August 31, 2026. Lee has more than 20 years of experience in finance, with executive roles across the technology, education, healthcare, and automotive sectors. His background includes financial reporting, operational finance, and corporate strategy.
