XPeng delivers 39,107 vehicles in August, up 4% year-over-year

XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV, HKEX: 9868) delivered 39,107 vehicles in August 2026, a 4% increase compared to the same month in the prior year, according to a company statement.

The company's G9L model made its official debut and began pre-sales in the Chinese mainland on Aug. 11, 2026.

XPeng also received a permit from authorities in Guangzhou to conduct remote testing of intelligent connected vehicles without an onboard safety operator on designated Level 1, 2, and 3 test roads across the city. The company described the permit as a milestone toward fully driverless road testing as part of its robotaxi business validation efforts.
