KeyCorp names Chris Doll as chief strategy officer and deputy CFO

KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) announced that Chris Doll has joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy CFO, effective Aug. 31, 2026.
Doll comes from City National Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He previously held leadership roles at Fifth Third Bancorp, Omnicare, and First Financial Bancorp.
In his new role, Doll will lead KeyCorp's corporate strategy team and help guide the execution of the company's strategic priorities. He will serve on Key's Finance leadership team and Executive Council, reporting to Clark Khayat, KeyCorp's Chief Financial Officer and Head of Technology.
"Chris brings a strong track record of leadership, deep financial expertise, and a results-oriented approach that will help advance our strategic priorities," Khayat said in a statement.
KeyCorp, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, reported approximately $191 billion in assets as of June 30, 2026.
