EPAM Systems rises in premarket as activist reportedly takes stake

Investing.com -- EPAM Systems shares traded more than 2.6% higher in premarket trading on Monday after a Reuters report that activist hedge fund took a position in the company.
Engine Capital has accumulated a 1.5% stake in EPAM Systems, according to a report. The hedge fund is urging the company to increase its stock buyback program or explore a potential sale, a source said.
