Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) announced it has completed the purchase and physical installation of 80 3D printers at its approximately 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut, marking what the company describes as the commissioning of its primary autonomous drone manufacturing line.
According to a press release, the installation follows two earlier milestones at the same facility: the completion of the company's first mini-interceptor airframe on July 27, 2026, and the launch of its Advanced Filament Manufacturing Division on June 11, 2026.
The 3D printing farm is designed to produce structural airframe components, enclosures, and printed subassemblies for several planned drone product lines, including attritable one-way attack, interceptor, surveillance, VTOL, and long-range PHANTOM-950 variants. The equipment is intended to process both standard PETG filament and the company's patent-pending EMP-hardened composite filament, called Formula A, which the company plans to produce in-house.
During the week ended August 29, 2026, the company hosted on-site visits at the Bridgeport facility. Attendees included representatives of institutional investment firms, investment banking counterparties, and current and former senior U.S. military officers. The company stated that no material non-public information was disclosed and that no investment, financing, procurement, or other agreement was entered into in connection with the visits.
"Purchasing and installing 80 printers moves the drone production line from a plan to a physical asset on our factory floor," said David Lazar, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Cyber. "With our Head of Sales now in seat, our next step is to convert installed capacity into contracted volume."
The company noted it has recently appointed a Head of Sales and stated its next objective is securing commercial orders against the installed production capacity.
