Anne Bramman, a member of McCormick & Company, Incorporated's (NYSE: MKC) Board of Directors and Chair of its Audit Committee, has informed the board of her intention to resign, according to a company statement.
Bramman's departure is linked to her appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) and the time commitments the role requires.
As part of a planned transition, Bramman will step down as Audit Committee Chair on September 1, 2026, while remaining a board and committee member until her full resignation takes effect November 30, 2026.
Valarie Sheppard, a current board and Audit Committee member, will assume the role of Audit Committee Chair on September 1, 2026.
The company noted that Bramman's resignation is not the result of any disagreement over McCormick's operations, policies, or practices.
