Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) released selected operating data for the period ending July 31, 2026, showing total client assets of $578.4 billion and fee-based client assets of approximately $239.8 billion.
Compared to July 31, 2025, total client assets rose 11% and fee-based client assets increased 15%. The year-ago figures include $9.8 billion and $4.6 billion, respectively, in assets from the Stifel Independent Advisors business that was sold on February 2, 2026. Excluding the impact of that sale, the company said total client assets and fee-based client assets grew 13% and 17% year-over-year.
Bank loans, net, reached $25.6 billion as of July 31, 2026, up 19% from $21.6 billion a year earlier and up 3% from $24.8 billion at the end of June 2026. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ronald J. Kruszewski said the company remains on track to reach its full-year loan guidance of $4 billion in growth, citing strength in fund banking and residential mortgages.
Treasury deposits totaled $11.5 billion, up 59% from $7.2 billion a year ago and up 6% from $10.8 billion at June 30, 2026. Kruszewski attributed the monthly increase of more than $600 million to growth in venture deposits.
Client money market and insured product balances stood at $24.1 billion, down 6% from a year earlier and down 5% from the prior month, which the company said was primarily due to lower sweep balances.
Private Client Group fee-based client assets were $209.9 billion, up 15% year-over-year. Stifel noted that the data is limited in scope and that a consistent correlation to earnings should not be assumed.
