The New York Stock Exchange, a unit of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), has opened the NYSE Texas headquarters in Dallas at the Old Parkland campus, marking a physical expansion of the exchange's presence in the state.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott joined state legislators and members of the NYSE Texas listed community at the opening, ringing the NYSE Texas Closing Bell, broadcast live from the Dallas location.
NYSE Texas, which launched in March 2025, claims to be the first securities exchange incorporated in Texas. According to the press release, the exchange has grown to more than 120 listed issuers with a combined market capitalization exceeding $2 trillion. The state of Texas accounts for more than $4.8 trillion in total NYSE-listed market value.
Lynn Martin, President of NYSE Group, said in a statement: "Texas is home to more Fortune 500 company headquarters than any other U.S. state, and the establishment of NYSE Texas reflects our deep commitment to the businesses and leaders driving the robust Texas economy forward."
The new headquarters is intended to provide NYSE Texas-listed companies with a dedicated venue and event space in Dallas.
