OPAL Fuels upgrades California RNG/CNG station to serve 12 fleets

OPAL Fuels (Nasdaq: OPAL) has completed renovations at its fueling station in Goshen, California, with the upgraded facility projected to dispense approximately 14 million gasoline gallon equivalents (GGE) of renewable natural gas (RNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) over the next decade, according to a company statement.

The upgrade added 1.7 million GGE of capacity and brings Premier Ag Transportation Inc. to the site alongside Western Milling and ten other commercial customers. OPAL Fuels acquired the station in 2025 and completed the upgrades through 2026.

The station, located at 30981 Road 67 in Goshen, is projected to displace approximately 1.3 million gallons of diesel annually. It remains publicly accessible to other fleets in California's Central Valley.

"This expansion reflects the growing recognition among fleets that RNG delivers real value," said Adam Comora, Co-Chief Executive Officer of OPAL Fuels. "RNG is a compelling example of the circular economy in action, transforming waste into a valuable low-carbon fuel for the trucks that help move goods."

The company said the improvements are expected to provide faster fill times and a more reliable local supply of RNG and CNG for the twelve fleets currently fueling at the station.
