Bitdeer reports 322% Bitcoin mining surge, $4.7B Norway lease

Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) reported its unaudited operations update for July 2026, highlighting a significant rise in Bitcoin production and a major data center lease agreement in Norway.

The company mined 1,190 Bitcoin in July 2026, a 322% increase year-over-year compared to 282 Bitcoin mined in July 2025. Self-mining hash rate reached approximately 76.7 EH/s, up from 73.0 EH/s in June 2026 and 22.3 EH/s in July 2025. Co-mining hash rate stood at 18.7 EH/s, operated through third-party data centers.

Bitdeer announced a $4.7 billion, 16-year AI and high-performance computing data center lease for its Tydal, Norway campus. The tenant is a subsidiary of Volta, and the 121 IT MW facility will be configured to run Nvidia GPUs for an AI lab end customer. The contract carries a potential total value of $8.0 billion through a one-time eight-year extension option. A credit backstop of approximately $1.3 billion in letters of credit is anticipated to be arranged by affiliates of two global financial institutions, subject to customary conditions.

On the AI Cloud side, Bitdeer reported that its 9.5 MW A102 facility in Malaysia has been fully committed under long-term offtake agreements, with total expected contracted revenue exceeding $800 million. The facility is scheduled to be ready for service in November 2026. Contract discussions for the A201 facility, carrying 21.7 MW of IT load and set for January 2027 readiness, are described as ongoing.

The company's AI Cloud platform maintained 4,248 GPUs deployed in July 2026, unchanged from June 2026, with a 95% utilization rate. Annualized revenue run rate held at approximately $76 million. Total AI Cloud pipeline capacity stands at 141.4 IT MW across facilities in Malaysia, Norway, Washington state, and Tennessee.

Bitdeer also noted it has procured 66 Nvidia GB300 systems and said it will transition infrastructure reporting from monthly to quarterly disclosures, aligned with financial earnings releases.
