Dolphin's Digital Dept. adds 130 creators, expands to Dallas and Boston

The Digital Dept. (TDD), a subsidiary of Dolphin (NASDAQ: DLPN), has grown its talent roster to more than 380 creators, up from roughly 250 a year ago, according to a company press release.

The talent management division also expanded its team by 45%, bringing total U.S. headcount to 80 employees. TDD opened new offices in Dallas and Boston, adding to existing locations in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Nashville.

New signings include actress Christy Carlson Romano, Cheryl Burke of Dancing with the Stars, actress Tammin Sursok, television personality Audrina Patridge, former WWE champion Barbie Blank, and food content creator Josh Scherer, among others.

Bill O'Dowd, CEO of Dolphin, attributed the growth to the company's talent management reputation. "Creators build their businesses where they know they'll be taken care of, and that's exactly the reputation The Digital Dept. has built," he said.
