US Antimony doubles ore haulage rate at Montana mine in 2026

United States Antimony Corporation (NYSE: UAMY) reported that its 2026 mining campaign at Stibnite Hill in Thompson Falls, Montana, is transporting ore at more than twice the daily rate achieved during its 2025 season, according to a company press release.

Since resuming operations in April 2026, the company has transported 42 truckloads of stibnite ore, averaging approximately 14 tons per truck at roughly 10% antimony content. That amounts to approximately 576 tons of ore hauled from the site. Current operations are running at approximately three truckloads per day, or about 42 tons daily.

By comparison, the 2025 campaign transported approximately 800 tons over a 45-day period, a daily rate less than half of the current pace. Winter weather ended the prior year's campaign in November 2025.

Ore mined at Stibnite Hill is transported to the company's Radersburg, Montana flotation mill. The resulting antimony concentrate is then shipped to either the company's Thompson Falls smelter or its Madero smelter in Mexico for processing into finished antimony products.

Joseph Bardswich, Executive Vice President and Chief Mining Engineer, said the company is "moving rock off the mountain over twice as fast as we did last year" and added that contractors are becoming more efficient. He also noted the company anticipates "accomplishing similar results soon in Alaska."

The company stated the Stibnite Hill operations are part of a previously announced strategy to expand access to domestically sourced antimony and reduce reliance on third-party and foreign ore purchases.
