Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) has appointed Dennis Schnur as its Head of U.S. Sales, effective immediately, according to a press release from the company.
Schnur brings more than 60 years of wholesale distribution experience, during which he has purchased and sold millions of dollars of inventory from consumer and technology brands including Samsung, Revlon, Gucci Fragrance, LVMH Fragrance, Shiseido, and Tommy Hilfiger, among others.
The appointment is intended to support Quantum Cyber's commercial build-out as the company moves toward commercializing its domestic drone manufacturing program. The company previously acquired a manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut, assembled its first mini-interceptor drone at that facility, and assumed purchase orders through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Quantum Drones Corporation.
"As we move from platform assembly and facility acquisition into the next phase — commercializing U.S.-manufactured autonomous systems and expanding our U.S. sales footprint — we believe Dennis's extensive business and distribution experience will be particularly valuable," said David Lazar, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Cyber.
Schnur is a U.S. Army veteran who served with the U.S. Army Reserve's 77th Army Reserve Command in the late 1960s. He is also the Chairman and Founder of the Federal Drug Agents Foundation, a nonprofit supporting U.S. law enforcement personnel and their families, a role the company noted is separate from his commercial responsibilities.
