Tesla raises Cybertruck prices by $5,000 in the U.S.

Investing.com -- Tesla Inc increased prices for two versions of its Cybertruck pickup by $5,000 in the United States on Tuesday.

The electric vehicle manufacturer now charges $74,990 for the dual-motor Cybertruck, up from $69,990. The all-wheel-drive version rose to $84,990 from $79,990, according to the company's website.

The Cybertruck, promoted by CEO Elon Musk as a futuristic competitor to pickup trucks from traditional automakers like Ford, has faced challenges maintaining consumer interest since its 2023 launch. The vehicle has been subject to multiple recalls and quality-control problems, and Tesla has adjusted pricing several times.

In February, the company introduced a lower-priced dual-motor variant at $59,990, though Musk stated the promotional price would be available for only 10 days.

Tesla previously raised the price of the top-end Cyberbeast model by $15,000 to $114,990 in August 2025, before reversing that increase the following February.
