NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ) announced a collaboration with The OpenAI Deployment Company, known as DeployCo, to expand its AI product offerings and deliver consumer intelligence into enterprise workflows, according to a company press release.
The collaboration centers on NIQ's Optiq Suite, which includes NIQ Optiq Chat, an AI insights tool that allows users to query business questions and receive recommendations based on NIQ data, and NIQ Optiq Bridge, which enables organizations to access NIQ data and generative AI capabilities within their own platforms and systems. Expanded versions of both products are scheduled for release in early September.
NIQ also offers a ConnectAI Charter Program, which pairs technology access with dedicated engineering and data science support to help clients build AI-enabled decision workflows.
"The bigger opportunity is helping clients get more value from NIQ intelligence and creating new ways for them to use it," said Troy Treangen, Chief Product & AI Officer at NIQ. "When NIQ intelligence can move into more applications, systems and workflows, we expand both the value we deliver to clients and the near-term revenue opportunities for NIQ."
Adena Hefets, interim CEO of The OpenAI Deployment Company, said the collaboration aims to "help create practical enterprise experiences that make it easier for teams to apply AI in real business workflows."
NIQ stated that its proprietary data remains governed and accessible only through authorized products and client agreements, and is not made publicly available through ChatGPT or other public channels.
The company's data infrastructure includes a 160-petabyte data engine covering approximately 260 million product items and 10.5 billion product attributes. NIQ operates in more than 90 countries and covers approximately 82% of the world's population.
