TotalEnergies names new exploration manager for Norway operations

Investing.com -- TotalEnergies will appoint a new exploration manager in Stavanger, Norway, to examine new projects in the country, CEO Patrick Pouyanne said on Norwegian television on Monday.
The French oil company views the Norwegian continental shelf as an area with future potential, Pouyanne said on the sidelines of the ONS energy conference in Stavanger.
"The Norwegian continental shelf is a very prolific basin, we see it as having potential for the future," Pouyanne said.
The new manager will be based in Stavanger and will focus on evaluating new project opportunities in Norway.
