U.S. Bank names Chris Peary chief private banking officer

U.S. Bank announced that Chris Peary has been appointed chief private banking officer for its Wealth Management division, according to a company statement.

In the role, Peary will oversee the bank's private banking platform and be responsible for delivering banking, credit, and wealth solutions to affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients across all markets.

Peary brings approximately two decades of experience at U.S. Bank. He most recently served as national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank, while also working as a client advisor. He has held roles across consumer banking, business banking, Private Wealth Management, and Ascent since 2016.

Scott Ford, president of Wealth Management at U.S. Bank, said in the statement: "His experience across consumer banking, business banking and wealth management gives him a unique perspective into the needs of our clients and teams."

Peary holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master's degree in finance from the University of Colorado Denver. He also completed the Executive Leadership Certification program at Pacific Coast Banking School through the University of Washington.
