loanDepot receives NYSE non-compliance notice over stock price

loanDepot, Inc. (NYSE: LDI) announced it received a deficiency letter from the New York Stock Exchange on August 21, 2026, notifying the company that its Class A common stock is not in compliance with the NYSE's minimum price listing standard.

The notice was triggered because the average closing price of loanDepot's Class A common stock fell below $1.00 per share over a consecutive 30 trading-day period ending August 20, 2026.

The company stated the notice has no immediate impact on the continued trading of its Class A common stock on the NYSE, its business operations, or its reporting obligations to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Under NYSE rules, loanDepot has six months from receipt of the notice to bring its share price and 30-day average share price back above $1.00. The company said it will respond to the NYSE within ten business days with its intent to cure the deficiency. Among the options being considered is a reverse stock split, which would require stockholder approval no later than at the company's next annual meeting, anticipated for early June 2027.

Anthony Hsieh, loanDepot's founder and chief executive officer, said in a statement that unit volume grew 25%, revenue grew 18%, and purchase market share grew 33% in the last quarter, adding that the company "can create sustainable stockholder value."
