Genworth Financial (NYSE: GNW) announced that Thomas J. McInerney will return from a leave of absence and resume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2, 2026.
McInerney will resume day-to-day operational responsibilities and the role of principal executive officer upon his return.
Jerome T. Upton, who has been serving as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, will step down from that role on September 2, 2026. Upton will continue in his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
