SolvChem secures expanded credit facility from Amegy Bank

Westlake Securities served as exclusive financial advisor to SolvChem, Inc. in securing an expanded senior credit facility from Amegy Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A. (NASDAQ: ZION), according to a press release.
The facility includes advancing term loans to fund construction and equipping of new production capacity, along with expanded revolving credit to support organic growth. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
SolvChem, headquartered in Pearland, Texas, manufactures branded and private-label chemical consumer products and provides custom chemical blending and packaging services.
"Expanding this facility was the natural next step in our growth plan. This commitment gives us the capital to keep investing in our capacity and our customers," said Jean-Pierre Baizán, CEO of SolvChem.
The transaction marks the second engagement between Westlake Securities and SolvChem. Westlake Securities is an Austin, Texas-based investment bank founded in 2003.
