Uber, Lyft trade lower on report of August launch of Tesla's CyberCab

Investing.com -- Shares of Uber and Lyft declined during late Monday's trading session following a report that Tesla plans to launch its CyberCab robotaxi service to the public in Austin this month.

The Information reported that Tesla is preparing to introduce the CyberCab, a robotaxi vehicle that does not include a steering wheel, for public use in August.

Uber traded approximately 1.1% lower, while Lyft fell 1.7%.
