Investing.com -- Canadian minister Dominic LeBlanc will meet with United States Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Washington, D.C. on Monday, LeBlanc's office said.
The meeting will take place at the Department of Commerce at 1 p.m. EDT. Canada's chief trade negotiator Janice Charette will also attend.
Canada has increased its meetings with U.S. trade officials as Prime Minister Mark Carney attempts to avoid a new 50% tariff on a wide range of products that President Donald Trump has promised to impose from August 19.
