Optimum Communications, Inc. (NYSE: OPTU) disclosed that it received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange on August 13, 2026, stating the company is not in compliance with Section 802.01C of the NYSE Listed Company Manual.
The notice was triggered because the average closing price of the company's Class A common stock fell below $1.00 over a consecutive 30 trading-day period.
According to the company's statement, the notice has no immediate effect on the listing of its Class A common stock, provided the company continues to meet the NYSE's other listing requirements. The notice also does not affect business operations or the company's reporting obligations with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Under NYSE rules, Optimum Communications has six months from receipt of the notice to regain compliance. The company can satisfy the requirement if, on the last trading day of any calendar month within that period, its Class A common stock closes at or above $1.00 and maintains an average closing price of at least $1.00 over the preceding 30 trading days.
If the company fails to regain compliance by February 13, 2027, the NYSE will initiate procedures to suspend and delist the stock. The company said its board of directors will consider available options if the stock price does not recover to a level likely to restore compliance.
