JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU) has promoted Jeffrey Winter to Senior Vice President of Flight Operations, Inflight Experience and Technical Operations, according to a company press release.
In the newly structured role, Winter will oversee three of the airline's largest operational divisions and join JetBlue's Senior Leadership Team. The reorganization consolidates Flight Operations, Inflight and Technical Operations under a single executive, a change the company says is intended to strengthen coordination, clarify accountability and improve day-to-day execution.
Winter previously served as JetBlue's Vice President of Flight Operations. He joined the airline in 2015 following a 26-year career in the U.S. Navy and has held senior roles across Flight Operations and JetBlue University. He will continue to report to Chief Operating Officer Warren Christie.
"Bringing Flight Operations, Inflight and Technical Operations together under Jeff's leadership creates even closer alignment across our operation, simplifies decision-making and strengthens accountability," Christie said.
