Angi (NASDAQ: ANGI), a home services marketplace, announced it is available as a connected app in Google's Gemini AI platform beginning August 13, 2026, according to a company press release.
The integration allows users to ask home improvement questions within Gemini and then connect with local service professionals through Angi. The company claims to be among the first home services marketplaces to be available through Gemini in this capacity.
"Our AI-first strategy is to ensure homeowners can discover Angi and our vast network of skilled local pros wherever they're looking for guidance," said Angie Hicks, co-founder of Angi. "Whether they begin in Gemini or directly on Angi, we're building AI into the core homeowner experience to create a seamless path from asking a question to confidently completing a project."
Angi said that 50% of homeowners currently use AI within its core platform experience, and those users convert to quote requests at roughly three times the rate of non-AI users.
The Gemini launch adds to Angi's existing AI integrations, which include its in-app AI Helper tool and availability within OpenAI's ChatGPT. The company also said it plans to make its service available in Amazon Alexa+ in the future.
Angi, formerly known as Angie's List, was founded in 1995 and is listed on the Nasdaq exchange.
