Iveda (NASDAQ: IVDA) and GlobalMed have announced a strategic partnership aimed at combining virtual healthcare technology with AI-powered surveillance tools for government agency customers, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, GlobalMed will serve as Iveda's Strategic Government Partner, distributing Iveda products — including IvedaAI, Iveda Smart Drones, IvedaRTLS, and IvedaCare — through compliant federal procurement channels. GlobalMed brings more than two decades of experience deploying technology across government, defense, and healthcare environments.
Iveda Smart Drones represent the first procurement milestone of the partnership. The AI-powered rotary wing unmanned aircraft systems are now available for government order through GlobalMed via the Defense Logistics Agency's Tailored Logistics Support contract vehicle.
The two companies are also evaluating opportunities to integrate Iveda's AI and location intelligence capabilities with GlobalMed's existing telehealth platforms. Potential applications cited include military installations, veterans' care, correctional facilities, disaster response, and remote clinics.
"By combining that foundation with Iveda's real-time intelligence, we can create solutions that help government teams understand what is happening, locate the people and resources that matter, and make better decisions when every second counts," said David Ly, CEO and founder of Iveda.
Joel E. Barthelemy, founder and CEO of GlobalMed, said the partnership adds "AI-powered, intelligent situational awareness to the healthcare encounter," building on the company's existing government relationships.
Both companies are headquartered in Arizona — GlobalMed in Scottsdale and Iveda in Mesa. GlobalMed counts the White House Medical Unit, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Defense among its customers, and claims to have supported more than 100 million patient consults across more than 60 countries.
