GoPro, Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) reported second-quarter revenue of $105 million for the period ended June 30, 2026, down 31% from $153 million in the same quarter a year earlier, according to a company press release.

Hardware revenue fell 40% year-over-year to $76 million, while camera unit sell-through declined 38% to approximately 291,000 units. Revenue from the retail channel dropped 48% to $58 million. GoPro.com revenue, which includes subscription and service revenue, rose 13% to $47 million.

Subscription and service revenue grew 11% year-over-year to $29 million, representing 28% of total revenue compared with 17% in the prior-year quarter. The subscriber attach rate reached 69%, up from 54% a year earlier. Subscription and service revenue included $2 million from GoPro's AI content licensing program.

GAAP gross margin was 30.2%, down from 35.8% in the prior-year quarter. Results included a $19 million benefit from tariff refunds, partially offset by a $15 million charge related to component purchase commitments. The GAAP net loss widened to $51 million, or $(0.30) per share, from a net loss of $16 million, or $(0.10) per share, a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was negative $29 million, compared with negative $6 million in the prior-year quarter.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at $27 million as of June 30, 2026, down from $50 million at December 31, 2025. Total current liabilities rose to $405 million from $277 million over the same period, driven largely by increases in accrued expenses and short-term debt.

In May, GoPro's board authorized a review of strategic alternatives, including a potential sale of the company. The company also began shipping its MISSION 1 PRO and MISSION 1 compact cinema cameras through GoPro.com and retail partners including Best Buy and Walmart.
